[ There's a long pause, like someone isn't sure if his mailbox is recording yet. But there's two taps against the speaker, making sure it's on, and then a voice pronounces crisply: ]
[There isn't a ton of traffic or a crowd of imps, so N is fine with hanging around downstairs... or maybe he just doesn't have quite enough energy to prefer the extra effort. Either way, sitting down!]
Did you "remember" much while I was away? I have "remembered" what happened before I was "down here", but that made me "forget" some of the things that happened before I left.
Non, I have not been in the habit of buying memories. Home is beyond me, and I am not in a position to wallow in the past, though I feel my incompleteness keenly at times.
[ He pauses, then switches tracks. ]
But you remember everything of home now— now I am the last who does not. Perhaps I should make a point of remembering more. But until I do— if you ever need help recalling that which has been taken from you here, I will tell you of all you have missed.
Hehe, thank you very much~ I think I "remember" the "important things", like becoming "friends" with Shu again... but maybe I will ask you for "help" later.
[But anyway, on the subject of being the last one.]
Ah, I saw Wataru earlier~ [And Eichi is still lurking around apparently, though he won't put that name out.] It seems he does "remember" everything, doesn't he.
Yes. He never lost them to begin with, during his brief arrival on a temporary unit. When he joined Azrael, his memories did not appear to be altered.
[ A little contemplative, running through his knowledge of things he's discussed with Wataru. If there were any gaps, he certainly was not able to suss them out. . . ]
Did he? [ Sounding worried. ] . . . I ought to be checking in with him more often. It is not like him to allow that sort of thing to show through so easily.
Valour 5: I might remain at BARiTONES for a while longer Valour 5: Rest assured I will be back before there's any risk of turning gray Valour 5: You asked about what happened. Valour 5: During the course of the game Kohime harmed herself in an attempt to distress me enough to make me cry, and I offered Delores as a substitute, since it seemed like the most logical choice to avoid further harm Valour 5: They bought a copy from the store and she was destroyed Valour 5: I took it more poorly than I anticipated and it caused some complications Valour 5: I will be fine, but I need some time Valour 5: I ask that you don't share the specifics with anyone else on Taisho and keep the information to yourself. Vergil is aware — but I don't wish for Kaguya or Fox to worry any further Valour 5: If for whatever reason you believe my presence is required, let me know. I trust your judgement.
Mssr: I will not share this information, much as I wish to broadcast what a miscreant Kohime is to the world. Mssr: Take the time you need. After what happened, I would not believe it if you told me you were not shaken by the events. Mssr: And it is not easy, by any means, to be able to show others weakness. In your position, I do not know if I would like to return either. Mssr: I may disapprove of that unit, but if that is a place you do not have to worry about keeping up a strong front, rather than shutting yourself away, there is nothing I can do but accept it. Mssr: I will not share what you have told me. Mssr: With any luck, your presence will not be needed. I will check back in with you at the third day, regardless, though. I do not think you would behave in a manner so foolheartedly self-destructive intentionally, but the world is not one we can predict easily. Mssr: Take care of yourself.
[ his mouth hangs open for a couple of extra moments, ] Ah, no, I’m afraid. Fashion expertise. I’m heading to the mall to do a little shopping and I figured you might be able to help. I’m still not all that used to having to wear clothing and simply buying something from the points shop without, first, trying it on seems a bit ridiculous now that the option is here.
The points shop outfits are fitted to the buyer from what I have seen, but there is no substitute for examining something in person. The fabric quality is far easier to determine by hand than via photograph.
Exactly. I'm sure that, like you said, they'd fit no problem, but it's more a matter of my comfort in these ridiculous clothes. I'd rather try them before I buy them.
