Did you "remember" much while I was away? I have "remembered" what happened before I was "down here", but that made me "forget" some of the things that happened before I left.

Non, I have not been in the habit of buying memories. Home is beyond me, and I am not in a position to wallow in the past, though I feel my incompleteness keenly at times.

[ He pauses, then switches tracks. ]
